Job Summary

Supervises assigned personnel, coordinates work schedules and monitors performance.  Supervises the tool coordination process of assigned business unit.  Tracks assigned projects to ensure efficiency, quality and accuracy of resources and processes.

Essential Duties

  • Serves as working supervisor for assigned personnel and instructs them of the daily work to be completed. Develops work schedules and ensures adherence to company policy. Monitors the performance of assigned area staff including any permanent subcontractors. Consults with managers regarding any disciplinary issues and recommends measures to be taken.  Assists in conducting timely, complete and meaningful performance management conversations.
  • Responsible for ensuring tools are repaired and replaced as needed.  Manages inventory control and ensures adequate levels of equipment and tools are maintained.
  • Communicates backorders with Foremen, Managers and appropriate personnel.
  • Performs quarterly inventory or on a regular schedule to maintain accurate inventory reports.
  • Manages monthly tool spend to stay within budget.
  • Ensures vendor issues are resolved.
  • Manages shipping and receiving duties and ensures tools or materials are delivered to job sites on schedule. Responsible for quality control of all outgoing tool deliveries. 
  • Maintains a safe, clean and secure space with an identified place for everything to provide quick identification of missing or damaged equipment. Ensures work areas are restocked with supplies and materials as necessary.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of previous warehouse, tool and fleet management experience.
  • High School or GED is required.
  • Some college education preferred in:  Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
  • Tool Management software experience preferred
  • Valid/current driver’s license and a good driving record required.
