Job Summary

Responsible for managing tools and maintaining an accurate and controlled inventory. Coordinates and/or completes the repairs and replacement of tools.

Essential Duties

  • Loads, unloads, stores, transports and furnishes craft workers with tools and supplies.
  • Maintains a safe, clean and secure space with an identified place for everything to provide quick identification of missing or damaged equipment. Ensures work areas are restocked with supplies and materials as necessary.
  • Operates equipment and machinery such as forklifts, welders and repair tools.
  • Coordinates or completes the repairs and replacement of tools. Manages spare tools and makes recommendations of how many are needed; keeps spares ready for use. Distributes tools to new partners; and collects company-owned tools from terminated or transferred partners.
  • Responsible for the proper function and safety performance of all tools.
  • Performs semi-annual physical inventory of tools and assets (including trailers) to ensure all are accounted for.
  • Performs shipping and receiving duties and delivers tools or materials to job sites.
  • Coordinates with proper job site contacts for all tool deliveries.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

High School or GED

Must be certified to operate forklifts, roustabouts and duct lifts.

Valid/current driver’s license and a good driving record.

1-2 years of tool coordination experience, preferably in the Construction Industry.

Working knowledge of tool organization software.

Good organizational and record-keeping skills.

Intermediate Level using Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, Word and Outlook.
