Job Summary

As an Apprentice Electrician Service Tech, you’ll help troubleshoot and fix electrical issues by learning to read schematics, use tools, and replace faulty parts, all while gaining hands-on experience in the field.

Essential Duties

  • Assists service technician in electrical installations, troubleshooting and planned maintenance. Assists in diagnosing electrical system performance through observation, testing and setup as required by trade/position. Proficiently operates hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring equipment.
  • Must be motivated, hardworking, a team player, and able to take direction well
  • Purchases materials and issues purchase order numbers to suppliers.
  • Follows all company safety policies and safely drives per company vehicle policy
  • Maintains equipment, vehicle, and tools.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Open to candidates with no experience

  • General electrical installation and troubleshooting skills are a plus

  • Must be a hard worker and willing to learn

  • Comfortable using app-based technology

  • Professional and dependable

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude

  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance
