Job Summary

Responsible for providing diverse analytical, reporting and financial support across all areas of the business. Plays a key role in the financial planning and reporting function as well while driving operational efficiency. Partners with leadership and senior managers to develop and monitor key performance metrics, analyze the company’s financial results, and identify business trends and process improvement. Responsible for effectively prioritizing and meeting multiple reporting deadlines.

Essential Duties

  • Leads and manage annual company budget, and recurring forecast, long term projections, and strategic plans in an organized and timely manner. Coordinate the development and presentation of the company’s annual budgets independently.
  • Review and conduct financial statement analysis on income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement; with focus on performance trends, key business drivers and variance analysis.
  • Manage and develop accurate standard monthly reporting package which include but is not limited to; forecasting, variance analyses, financial reporting and executive summaries for management use. Prepare quarterly compliance, executive, and board reporting deliverables.
  • Performs root cause analysis, ROI/ NPV analysis, ratio analysis and make recommendations to assist senior leaders in making important informed decisions.
  • Continuously identify areas of improvement in existing processes and policies. Develop and maintain process documentation. Develop businesses acumen, understand new or changing business needs as Finance business partner, translate them into actionable steps for the department and accomplish goals through teamwork.
  • Develop new financial models and reports using multiple sources and limited guidance. Conduct and present financial analyses for ad hoc projects as assigned by senior management.
  • Participate in accounting projects, act as an indispensable resource during audit and month-end close. Prepare presentations for senior management and be available as subject matter expert, when applicable and required. Ability to manage and meet given deadlines.
  • Keep up to date on evolving GAAP accounting principles, study current policies and procedures, perform gap analysis, take lead and implement new standards in a collaborative manner.
  • Frequent ad hoc assignments and duties.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred.
  • CPA or CMA preferred
  • 5-8 years experience
  • Prior professional experience working as a Sr. Finance Analyst or comparable role required.
  • Strong MS Office skills, working with different databases and financial software packages (Microsoft D365 desirable)
  • Self-starter, collaborative, solution-oriented approach
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to take ownership and work through new initiatives and/ or tasks when minimum guidance is available
