Job Summary

Assists with the assembly and installation of HVAC systems. Works directly with Onsite Superintendent to monitor IC crews, assist with QA QC, and preform tasks throughout jobsite to assist with specific job site needs.  Works with various types of tools, materials and equipment under the guidance and direction from supervisor

Essential Duties

  • Assists with the assembly and installation of sheet metal, duct board, and general HVAC products. Makes adjustments and alterations as needed.
  • Work with labor force to understand the application and installation procedures used in the HVAC systems on the jobsite
  • Learn how to operate in a construction management type role to oversee specific duties related to independent contractors
  • Conducts assigned daily job requirements with the utmost safety, quality, and productivity in mind.
  • Operates and maintains a variety of equipment and tools. Keeps tools and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Familiarizes self with project task safety plans, documentation, practices and procedures and executes them during the work-day.
  • Has and maintains proper use of all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and safety equipment.
  • Completes trade related training as required.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

  1. High School Diploma or GED.  Craft training is preferred.
  2. Must be a team player.
  3. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring equipment.
  4. Must have basic math skills.
