Produces detailed material and labor estimates for mechanical and plumbing systems. Produces a conceptual estimate based on available information, historical data, experience and basic known engineering concepts, if plans are not available.  Estimates include materials, consumables, incorporated equipment and labor, direct and indirect costs.

The Service Tech I – HVAC performs inspections, testing, repairs, servicing, and planned maintenance of HVAC Systems.

The HVAC Building Tech II (intermediate level) operates, monitors and maintains utilities, including HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) setup, maintenance and balancing, water treatment, purified water and process equipment. Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs facilities mechanical components and electrical equipment and systems in accordance with SOPs (standard operating procedures), internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications and safety policies. Develops, maintains and secures a spare parts inventory of basic maintenance hand and power tools. Recommends purchase of maintenance tools, equipment and supplies as required to streamline processes and increase efficiency. Assists engineers in developing methods and procedures to control or improve facilities processes.

Coordinate and organize all information and data obtained from the VDC department and Field project teams in order to create work packages for the manufacturing environment to fabricate efficiently and effectively.  Create the assembly documents required to accurately fabricate on the shop floor and create the field documents required to install fabricated products on the job site. Break down large Revit models into a workable and shippable piece of prefabrication based on project schedules

Supervises, coordinates, inspects and performs the assembly, installation and repair of components, subsystems and systems for the piping trade during the construction, tenant finish-out or remodel of commercial buildings and industrial facilities.  

Assembles, installs and repairs plumbing systems according to specifications and appropriate trade and building codes. These systems may consist of pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water and drainage systems.

The Service Tech II (intermediate level) is responsible for plumbing installation, maintenance and repair of large or small commercial or residential equipment. Reads blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal or water supply systems. Cuts, assembles and installs pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring). Installs and maintains water supply systems.

The Plumbing tech I will assist in commercial maintenance of a building, equipment and supplies as required to streamline processes and increase efficiency. Assists engineers in developing methods and procedures to control or improve facilities processes.

The Facilities Controls Tech II – (intermediate level) performs diagnostics, maintenance and repair services on control systems.

Reports to a site operations manager at Baylor Univertisy, maintenance manager.  As a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the CMMS software within our organization. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient utilization of the system to enhance maintenance operations and asset management. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and a strong understanding of maintenance processes.

The Service Tech – Electrical (Journeyman) is responsible for maintenance and repair of electronic components and equipment and ensure equipment is running correctly. Refers to schematics and performs visual inspections for basic problems. Uses diagnostic equipment to pinpoint malfunctions. Once identified, defective components are repaired or replaced.

Leads or coordinates construction projects such as developing a new facility; the addition, expansion or extension of an existing facility; or renovation/alterations to a facility in collaboration with project team, construction site and management. Develops assignments, timetables and responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project. Organizes and directs construction personnel and ensures that materials and equipment resources are delivered on time.

The Plant Operator/Mechanic provides guidance and training to other Building Technicians. Operates, monitors and maintains utilities, including HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) setup, maintenance and balancing. Central Utility Plant experience in a commercial building. York Chiller repair, Chemical reading and Metasys experience. Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs facilities mechanical components and electrical equipment and systems in accordance with SOPs (standard operating procedures), internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications and safety policies. Develops, maintains and secures a spare parts inventory of basic maintenance hand and power tools. Coordinates inbound and outbound logistical operations, including inventory management, warehousing and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products. Controls the commercial impact of the complete range of activities from receiving, locating and dispatching, sourcing, purchasing and optimizing inventory levels. Administers an effective system that meets the organization's inventory control needs through efficient transportation of raw materials, component parts and/or finished goods.

Conducts job-site safety inspections of buildings, facilities, tools and equipment. Provides site-specific safety orientations and safety training applicable to their work processes. Investigates incidents to determine the root cause, circumstances and contributing factors. May provide recommendations and follow-up to prevent accident recurrence. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of government safety regulations.

Our Commercial Service HVAC Tech II performs inspections, testing, repairs, servicing, and planned maintenance of HVAC Systems.

The Kitchen Tech III – Refrigeration Tech serves as a front-line resource to service technicians through technical support and provides guidance and training to other technicians. Responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and maintenance of industrial or commercial cooking, refrigeration and/or HVAC equipment (to include both hot-side and cold-side systems).

Our VDC Plumbing Designer, prepares and maintains detailed design drawings, schematics or specifications typically using computer-aided design software. Works closely with design originators (e.g., engineers, designers) to resolve design details or discrepancies or to prepare drawings of unusual, complex or original designs which require a high degree of precision using computer-aided drafting (CAD) or computer-aided engineering (CAE) equipment. Creates, modifies and controls detailed two- and three-dimensional parts and assembly drawings from engineers' and technicians' sketches, plans and written and verbal instructions. Develops and maintains drafting standards and procedures.
