Our VDC Designer, prepares and maintains detailed design drawings, schematics or specifications typically using computer-aided design software. Works closely with design originators (e.g., engineers, designers) to resolve design details or discrepancies or to prepare drawings of unusual, complex or original designs which require a high degree of precision using computer-aided drafting (CAD) or computer-aided engineering (CAE) equipment. Creates, modifies and controls detailed two- and three-dimensional parts and assembly drawings from engineers' and technicians' sketches, plans and written and verbal instructions. Develops and maintains drafting standards and procedures.
Leads or coordinates construction projects such as developing a new facility; the addition, expansion or extension of an existing facility; or renovation/alterations to a facility in collaboration with project team, construction site and management. Typically responsible for multiple jobs, supervising one or more trade groups. Develops assignments, timetables and responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project. The Building Tech III (senior level) provides guidance and training to other Building Technicians. The Service Tech III – HVAC (senior level) serves as a front-line resource to service technicians through technical support and provides guidance and training to other technicians. Performs inspections, testing, repairs, servicing, and planned maintenance of HVAC Systems.
Performs business development and marketing activities including planning and strategy for a specifically assigned client/customer or market segment. Position is highly visible to potential customers and requires the ability to influence/persuade. Locates business opportunities with new and existing customers by building long-term business relationships with key decision makers. Quality of effort greatly impacts corporate image and revenue stream. Develops and facilitates the proposal process for specific clients including budget and pricing development, proposal writing, and client presentations.
The HVAC Tech II operates, monitors, and maintains heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repair of all HVAC-related facilities' mechanical and electrical components and equipment in accordance with SOPs, internal requirements, manufacturer specifications, and safety policies. The HVAC Tech II develops and secures a spare parts inventory of maintenance hand and power tools and recommends the purchase of tools, equipment, and supplies required to streamline maintenance and operational processes and increase efficiency. Provides leadership and guidance to direct reports. Ensures the optimal utilization of the organization's facilities for a project. Ensures proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance.

Performs inspections, testing, repairs, and planned maintenance of advanced and complex Heavy Commercial Centrifugal & Chiller systems. Teardown experience is required.
